The challenge

Live streaming punishes every weak link. A spike in viewers can't turn into a spike in buffering, and quality has to hold on a phone in a tunnel as well as a fiber connection at home.

Our approach

We built an adaptive-bitrate pipeline with edge delivery and aggressive caching, a single cross-platform player, and QoE telemetry that lets the team see and fix problems in real time.
